Straight back 2pt betting at advised odds produced an amazing profit of 46 points. This included 9 winners, with key highlights being wins 12/1, 10/1 and 9/1.
65% of bets dropped in odds from when I posted (compared to BSP and excluding NRs).

July 2016 has been another strange month. Up to the 21st, nothing went to form. I could blame the changing weather conditions but sometimes things just don’t go as you expect. Luckily we had a great end to the month which helped recover to an overall profit of 46 points (24 points for straight bets and 22 for the trends). A caveat that if you don’t have best odds guaranteed your results may be lower due to NR deductions.

Again, keep looking at the long term. This month was fairly average and I’m expecting better things over the long term.

Key highlights: July 2016

69% of bets dropped from the advised odds to Betfair SP. If you had backed all the horses at the odds advised for 2pt and then greened up before the off (using BSP to represent price at the off), you would have made 22 points.
Backing bets at the odds advised resulted in a profit of 24 points.

Overall it’s good to be back to winning ways but I’m still disappointed with the results at the start of the month. Let’s hope the end of month form continues into August.
